I just paid $336 for a new alternator and installation on a 2.4L Twincam Z-24. Did I get ripped off???
$336?! My god, I had a new Alternator and battery put in my Buick for about $265. My friend just had his Alternator and battery done as well as an electrical system check, and he paid $280. $336 is insane?!
Anybody has instructions on how to install an alternator on a cavalier 2.4 2002?

why do people post this kind of question AFTER they've already paid for the service. next time ask first so we can tell you how easy and cheap it is to do it yourself. i changed my alternator in a half hour.
