i have an 03' cavalier ls and i just got a card in the mail from the local chevy dealer about an open recall dealing with the brake lamps and turn signals not working...kinda funny cuz in the past 3 weeks my back right turn signal has stopped working 3 times....anyone else gotten this recall and if so what do they do?

I assume my turn signals are still working on my 05, I don't see my car much from the back while driving, LOL. I wonder if this is for 03-05?

I have a 98 and I just had a recall for ignition thermal events, I just went to the dealer and showed them the card, and they did all the work. Best part is that recalls are free to the customer

The recall is for the socket itself. G.M. came out with an upgraded one so the bulb wont come loose.

If there a recall on the engine for the stalling, they HAVE to fix it, warranty or not. However, if its just a TSB (technical service bulletin) there is no obligation for them to fix it, its more of a guide forthe techs when a car comes with those symptoms.

Is there any more information on that recall dealing with the stalling? That's exactly what my car's doing. '03 sunfire. I've tried to look it up, but the only thing I've found is the recall for the lights.

My car had a recall for charging system wire harness, and head gasket.

they started fixing the tail light thing in late '03 i think. mine's been fixed for a while... as for the stalling, i had my car in 3 or 4 times to get them to fix it. a couple times they told me they couldn't recreate the problem, the others they reprogrammed something in the computer. it finally idles around 850 or so now, and has only bogged down once or twice in the past year or so, never stalled. i know a guy that works at my dealership, so he showed me the TSB once it was finally out, and said GM didn't really know how to fix it yet, but basically just gave them tips on what they could try...

What is TSB if I may ask?
