I tried to change the bulbs today for my wife's care (2002 Cavalier). According to a haynes manual all is needed, is to remove the two bolts that hold the headlight bracket in. I did that but there is still something holding the housing in, at the rear of the turn signal I think. This car has the front air dam and fog lights. I dont know what I have to remove in order to get to whatever is keeping the housing from coming out. Any expierenced here with this situation?
Thanks,
John
pop off your corners and they slide right up and out real easy
look down next to the outer headlight bracket bolt and there will be a gap that you can slide a long thin flathead through and press the tab holding the corner to the headlight housing. pop the tab slide em apart and lift em up and out.
no problem, should have seen me bumble@!#$ around when i changed my corners, probably looked like a monkey trying to screw a football from a distance. took me a while to figure it out, my 99 was "normal"
