Installing Block Heater

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a website showing how to install a block heater on a 01 sunfire gt?

I was hoping to save a few bucks from labor if I can do it myself.

Thanks!

Damn where you live that you need a block heater? Anyway theres a couple kinds you can get. They all plug into an electical outlet so you'll need an extension cord no matter which way you go. One replacees the dipstick and keeps the oil warm ( easy ) next type replaces one of the freeze plugs in the engine and keeps the anti-freeze warm ( little harder to do ) Then you have one that goes into one of the heater hoses and circulates the water while waming it up ( not bad either ) Then you have a couple different magnet types that "stick"on the side of the block and warm the engine ( easy ) and lastly theres ones that is a pad like thing that sticks on the bottom of the oil pan and plugs in to warm up the oil ( easy ) I don't think I missed any of the different types but I won't swear to it. There not hard to do just follow the directions and you'll be fine. But where do you live that it gets THAT cold??

Good Luck
