well im not sure where mine is leaking at..but i have the same problem...about once a month i have to refill my antifreeze/coolant because my low coolant light pops on in my 98 sunfire GT. when it first started it leaked one time pretty bad...but since then it hasnt left puddles on the ground at all....sometimes you can smell it but im not sure if its leaking it when im driving or when its just sitting still...anybody have any ideas to help us out on this situation?

thanks

Brad,

When you say 'passenger side' is that on the interior of the car, or under the hood? If it is inside the car, it is your heater core. If it is under your car, inside the engine bay, it is most likely either your water pump or a hose connection. But when your car is off, it is usually a sign of the water pump going/gone.

Adam, check your hose connections and clamps.

Good luck and hope this helps!

Sam

Then just look up, trace it back.

Is it comming out of a little rubber elbow? if so, then its the heater core leaking.

more than likely its the water pump. you have a 2.2 and the water pump is right behind the passenger side wheel. when the water pump is going, there is a weep hole designed to let coolant out. this is to let you know the pump is going and needs to be replaced
