ok heres the thing, i bought a 1995 Cavalier 2.2, it had no engine in it when i bought it and the harness was cut, i bought a 1996 cavalier donar car, so i swapped the entire harness and engine into the 1995 cavalier, so now its OBOII. i put the 1996 cluster in there cause it was from the donar donar car and on the oboII system, but i dont wanna sell the car with a inaccurate KM reading, so i installed the 1995 cluster back in and it still started and all the gauges worked fine, the only thing that didnt work was the daytime running lights. i know people are just gonna say to swap out the km tumbler, but the thing is the car is originally a USA cavalier (miles) and im in canada, and the 1996 cluster is canadian (km), so i cant do that. is it safe to use a 1995 cluster on a OBOII system? and does anyone know what could cause the daytime running lights to quit?
