Alright so i got up this morning on my way to school. I let the engine warm up for a while until it was about quarter ways across the guage if u understand wat i mean...but anyway it was running gotta until i hit the highway and i started going and then it just started bogging out and then if i pumped the petal a bit it would get a little burst of energy then die down again...then it did that a couple times before i pushed the clutch in and the engine just died and never started back up...i was told this could be my fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor...idno, does anyone have any idea which of these it sounds like...i really dont want it to be the pump

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL
sorry dude, but that really sounds like a pump

Get a fuel pressure check done.If its below the proper psi ,u will need a new fuel pump, which in turns means the fuel tank has to be removed to replace it.Now u can change ur fuel filter which may be OLD and clogged which in turn can cause the same problem.SO if u have not changed it in like forever,do so and if the car starts up and runs fine,no problem but,if the car starts then immeditiately cuts off, more than likely it's the fuel pump.Hope that was elaborate enuff .Do the filter if its really old, otherwise do a psi check to verify fuel pump pressure.IF its way low expect to buy a new one plus labor if u take it to a shop.
Listen for the fuel pump when u turn the ignition on if there is nothing then u kno its ur fuel pump.
FUEL, AIR, SPARK. Good suggestion on fuel pressure. Check for spark and clean air filter also. Good luck.
Alright ill try those, thanks for the ideas

You shouldn't be too worried if it's your fuel pump as they're not too hard to replace, but it definetly sounds as if it's dead.
the only thing i can add, and i have gone thru this before, is that just because the pump isnt running, doesjnt necessarily mean its bad. Sometimes the ECM simply one day quits telling the fuel pump relay to come on, no one knows why. I think the ecm blows a transistor or capacitor or something.
before you drop the tank and go thru the hassle, locate the fuel pump relay. Oftentimes there is another relay with the same part # under the hood somewhere, switch the relays to make sure its not the relay to the fuel pump. And the fuel pump fuse.
you can also try sending battery positive voltage down the fuel pump female relay socket, on teh pin thats the power for the fuel pump. If that cures it, the ecm just quit telling it to go on. The solution I always used was to wire the pump up to anythignin the fuse block that would handle the juice fine, and was on when the key was on, and off when the keys off.
some cars when a fuel filter clogs, will just start acting up, slowly, over a period of time. Some cars, just one day you start it up, it idles fine, but you cant GO anywhwere and it dies. Some cars, the fuel filter will act different.
