I was wondering if anybody may no what is wrong with my car. My car is making a knocking sound when I put my car into gear sometime. I have a 1995 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L(automatic). I thought it was my upper motor mount problem, but Iam not sure of that now due to it knocks more when I turning and accelrating hard on it. I was thinking it may be something wrong with my suspension. I have KYB struts/shocks, with coilovers dropped at 1.7". Any ideas or the direct answer of problem will help.

do it knock louder and faster as you accelerate?

Not really. I can be accelrating and then let off and then get right back on it, and that is when it knocks. Like when I play when the gas at high speeds or even when I take a turn.
