I have a 1996 Cavalier (2.2L, 4 cyl) with about 170k miles on it. Car was running fine until one of the fuel injectors started leaking. I bought an o-ring kit and changed the o-rings on all four injectors.
I put everything back together and tried starting the car. It would crank and the engine would turn over but it wouldn't start. After cranking it 4 or 5 times it stopped turning over all together. Now I just hear a click and the engine will try to turn over but won't. I thought the battery may be low so I tried jumping it with a friend's car but it still won't turn over.
The only electral items I unplugged were the injector's leads and the map sensor. I don't know what went wrong. I've changed the o-ring on one injector before with no problem.
I do remember I did not disconnect the battery if that's any help. Has anyone had this problem before?
Let me know what you guys think is wrong and how to fix it. Any comments are welcomed.
Thanks,
David.

make sure you have all the wires plugged in all the way...and make sure the injectors went back down in to the hole before you tightened things back up.
GO PATS!!!
Does the car have gas? Take the fuel rail off and stick the end in a bucket and turn the key on, if gas comes out then its not a fuel problem.
Girls suck, buy a fast car.
