one of my headlights is pointing down, and i went to adjust it but found out it moves a few degrees up and then goes back down. i cant get it up where it is supposed to be and i have a car inspection soon and my 30-day expires soon. does anyone know a quick fix or how to fix the adjuster or something?
there should be a single allen key spot to move the headlight up and down. Make sure that it hasn't popped off the adjuster. I had one headlight that fell off the adjuster, it's easily pushed back on.
Silver clipy looking thing that goes over black baljoint type thing. at the back top of the headlight assembly.

so the silver clip is what moves the position when the screw is turned?
^^yes. i had the same problem.

Blown.
yup!, it is the connection between the adjuster and the headlight. Make sure it didn't become disconnected.

-Chris
okay... i checked the inside of the headlight and where the silver ball thing is supposed to connect to the plastic piece on the reflector there isn't anything to pull the reflector back to raise it up. i don't want to have to pay for a new headlight and i couldn't find the piece at the junkyard, would anyone have one they can send me? i will pay the shipping.
If you can post a pic so I can confirm what the part is I think my little brother has a headlight laying around I may be able to scavenge the part off of

-Chris
unfortunately i dont have a camera
this is the best i could do, i dont have the piece that goes on the end of this
yup, your missing that clip. I'll see if my brother still has one. Either way they should be really cheap, provided you can get a replacement.

-Chris
where would i get one? i took the adjuster piece to napa auto parts and they said i would have to order a whole new headlight from gm
