I have a weird light on in my car. It says service and has a wrench underneath of it. I took it to Auto Zone and they couldn't find anything wrong with it and also we have to have our cars inspected up here and the DMV couldn't find anything wrong with it... Also the odometer reads ERROR...I didn't know the odometer could say words...HELP

Candice: other than the service light going on, is your car doing or acting strange.
Engine lacking power, wierd smells (coolant or burning), clicking or knocking noises,
rough shifting. The list can go on and on.

You might need to go to a GM dealer and have them run a diagnostic. If you know a trusted mechanic even better. This might be something as simple as sensor needs replacing. How many miles are on it?
