Replacing suel filter help!

I am going to try to replace the fuel filter on my 97 z24 i have the filter i was wondering where do i realese the fuel pressure, then does anyone have any tips on getting it on without using any fuel tools

Whats a "suel" filter? jk About the best thig to do is to just put a rag over the end your gonna loosen first that way it won't spray everywhere when you break
it loose.

Oh and don't forget to turn your head just to be safe but the rag should catch it all.

pull the fuse for the fuel pump and start the car. when it dies, the line is clear. thats what i've been told, i've never done it.

You worked in a shop and didn't know how to relieve fuel pressure??

Keep in mind that even though it's not pressurized, there is still fuel in the lines so have something to catch it when you unhook the filter.

You need the tool to do it, these little plastic or aluminum things that you have to use.. if the filter has been on too long though you're not going to get it off because the clip corrodes itself to death and the tool won't work.

yea i used that site but my clip is completely broken, what can i do to get this beast off? clips is broken as in all you can see is what remains inside and even that you can hardly see
