Can I use Dexron ATF for my '02 Cavilier's power steering fluid or do I have to buy the clear stuff?

i have atf in mine without any problems
Jeez, I meant to say "Power Steering".
jsut get a cheap bottle of PS fluid from the parts store you dont want any incompatiblilty problems

The best beginning is a cheap beginning, and work from there...
I've done 5 changes of the power steering reservoir now and the fluid is much better looking. Before it was black and now it is red and almost looking like new ATF.
I can get 400ml out of the reservoir each time using my battery fluid baster I bought at AutoZone for $2.99.
Another 2 or 3 changes and I’ll be done.
