Well, my car is getting up there in miles now (98K) and when I really get on it, the car kinda smeels like burning antifreeze. I had my hoses replaced no more than a couple of moths ago, could this be the culpret? Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

I would just look at all your hose connections to see if anything is leaking.. I had the same problem like 2 months ago. Kept smelling coolant, come to find out it was leaking out of my resouvior thingie because the thermostat kept getting stuck. Changed the thermostat, no more problems.

Hmmm.. I am gonna look at that stuff tomorrow. I actually looked at a thermostat that was perf. oriented for like 15 dollars. I will prbably upgrade to that. Thanks a bunch.

hey on the 2.4 where all the hoses come into one connector and the connector is bolted directly on the block if you are facing the engine it would be on the right hand side on the middle of the block it is a black piece this tends to come loose from the block there are two hoses and a sensor on this on piece two blots get a new gasket and torqe the bolts back down sorry i can be so specific
