seems to be everytime the car is around 1/4 tank of gas or less... I get the car hesitating in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear with the throttle wide open.. near the top of each gear this occurs.
Anyone care to shed some light on this problem.
starving the gas pump maybe?... all you gas is geting push (well to be correct the tank is pushisg the gas) to the back of the tank and its starving you gas pump.
This is probably a shot in the dark, but ...
Are you sure your fuel sending unit it working properly? The fuel sending unit is going bad on my Z24, and when my gauge reads less than 1/4, (really near empty) my car will hesitate. I don't have the problem anymore, because I just fill my tank when the gauge reads 1/2.
My only other guess would be your fuel pump might be going bad. I had a mechanic check out my car about a month ago, when I was on the road and the O2 sensor kicked the check engine light on. He told me that it could mean the fuel pump was going. He told me the symptom would be hesitation when accelerating, but it would not be noticeable until about 30 seconds of accelerating.
That's the best my mechanic wanna-be brain can guess at.
