hey guys got a 99 3 speeauto. yah i know. now the guage in my car is telling me that my coolant level is low. but in fact it is nopt through multiple checks. what do u think is causing it to so this\? car not overheating or nothing. .....have 89,000 miles on it but i keep it in check. good maintenance in other words.
the gauge doesn't tell u the level of the coolant it tells u the temperature of it, it even says the numbers in degrees Farenheit, I don't know where you got that its the level of coolant.
its the little light with the arrow pointing down inside a box right?

Mine usually comes on every now and then, i check it but nothing is wrong, might want to go into a shop and have them read the error.
Gauge or light? May be bad low coolant sensor. Tap sensor with screwdriver or something and see if it goes off. This is assuming that your coolant level is ok.

Check your water pump. I kept getting low coolant level because it was coming out of the wep hole very slowly on the back of the pump and i wouljd only get the light going up and down hills. so i checked out my pump and it was going bad. and the low coolant light is just what he said. a box with an arrow pointing toward a wavy line.
