Ok, the alternator is out of my car, but my friend pulled it out with the plug still attatched. The plug is fine, but the wires ripped right out of the back of it. It doesn't look like it's fixable without buying a new plug (male peice). Anyone know what the part i need is actually called? I appreciate your help!
Go to Wal-Mart or a parts store and buy a replacement connector (I'm assuming you are talking about the one that i son the end of the wire and is circular with a hole in it.).
They aren't that much.
Nah...
The alternator has a wiring harness attached to it- as well as the ring terminal..
You'll have to get it from a junkyard-- I would call it an alternator wiring harness.
