Idea's on bouncing RPM's??? At a light I'll bounce from 500-1000 RPM's. Super noticeable, I just want idea's. Thanks. (cars got 40,000KM on it(28M).

normal if you have the ac on
Yeah my z24 does that if i dont let it warm up, but only once in a while and only for a couple seconds.
nope this is all the time, with or without AC

Check the IAC Valve, mine came unplugged once, and the car was bouncing from 1500-2000 before i found out what was going on. On start up usually in the morning, or when the car is just cold, it does idle at 1500ish, till shes warmed, then down to 1000 or so, but its normal IMO.
Yea well it's idling @ 500RPM consistently, then bouncing to 1000RPM's. Checked the IAC, and even re-set my ECU. Stumped.

Just an idea-- a bad connection in the RPM sig line OR a faulty connection to earth/ground.

I had this exact same problem on my Z bout 3 months ago.. it would constantly go to 500-1000RPM.. took for ever to get a CEL and i ended up replacing the O2 Sensor on the manifold. Was like 20bucks at Auto Zone for a new Bosch one and plugged right in. Havent had problems since. I wouldnt think ur car would need a new one already tho but im just telling you what my problem was. When ur driving, around 2000rpm will the car seem to start bouncing again.. i would be driving doing about 35mph and then the rpms would bounce up and down just like when it was idling. On the 2200 ur o2 sensor on the manifold will be very easy compared to how it was on my Z.. took me 2 2" extensions(1 wobble) and 2 4" extensions(1 wobble) and then had to have my rachet where my filter is on my intake so i pulled the filter off and had to use a pipe to break it free.. was a bia for that little thing.
I dont care what anyone says. This isnt normal with ac on or off. People should really stop giving dumb advice if they dont know any better.
Scan for codes. Put the vehicle on a scanner if you have access to one and watch the O2 switching ... if you notice anything unusual swap it out... the O2 is a good maintainance item that people dont swap out enough..
What motor do you have ?

Thanks for all the answers.
I have a 2200, I had the header replaced by a Pacesetter(NEVER BUY ONE), and the fitment was way off, so I had to manually replace the o2 sensor, and extend it. I did not splice the o2 wire, just extended it from the harness.
What I'm thinking is, I run premium(expendable money

), and one guy said maybe to get a fuel injector purge, maybe there's excess carbon etc. The other thing is my car was running SUPER rich for weeks while i was trying to resolve the o2 sensor problem with a CEL on, so again, maybe a sensor is clogged somewhere. PCV?

If were running rich for a long time then you can have a couple of other problems. One is the cat is plugged (or partially plugged --- altering the back pressure) the second being EGR. Also look into the o2 being fouled.
