I just put an unorthodox crank in, and i have the aem true power to put in, but i can't get that damn alternator pulley off, could someone help me out?
its best to take the alt out , it makes it alot easier to change the pulley
its easier to use a impact gun , but you can use a wrench , and a allen that fits the shaft
Are you talkin like, break the nut with the hex turning the opposite way? Because i'm not too clear on how this works
Take it to a garage and they will impact it, even for a small fee it's worth it.
Do i have to take the intake manifold off to get the alternator bolt (towards the drivers side)?
I didnt take my alternator out to put mine in didnt even seem that hard to get the pulley off it just has to be locked in place just wedge something to prevent it from moving.

Yes officer I knew the speed limit was 50
I dont have a belt thats the right size to take it somewhere, i did my crank pulley at the same time. So i pretty much have to take it out to get some impact on that s&$#. I know i'm probably just being a dumb ass, but this alternator seems like its a pain in the ass to get off! And i tried a bunch of stuff with the hex key and a 24mm wrench, but to no avail.
