I have had an occasional problem with my cars idle going down to about 400 rpm and staying there for 5-10 seconds or longer then it goes back up to 800 or so. This problem has occured about 5 times in the past couple of months. It seems to happen when the AC is on but the problem doesn't go away when I shut off the AC. On the way to work today it did it to me and every time I would put the clutch in it would almost stall. Because the idle gets so low I also lose power steering. Has anyone had the same problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine dose that ever time but it only holds the low RPMs for a half of a second.

It dose this with the AC on and after useing engine brakeing. If I don't use any engine brakeing and just put in the clutch and use the breaks, It dose not happen. Otherwise I can just blip the gas after I use the clutch when engine breaking.

It has only stalled on me once since I've had it.
