I noticed my car is dripping oil....... so I got under my car to see if it was coming from the filter, drain screw or where and I seen little dabs of oil all around the back of the oil pan, probably on like 3 or 4 screws and my puddle of oil on the ground is not like in one spot its obviously right where those 3 or 4 screws are that pin the gasket between the actual pan so I bought an oil pan gasket........I have a 1995 Z24 the 2.3L engine and was wondering if anyone has went through this experience b/c iv heard its really easy that all you do is take the bolts off the oil pan replace the gasket and your done and I have also heard its a real pain in the behind b/c the tranny is involved and everything else.............any suggestions or tips would be highly appreciated. THANKS TO ALL.

The oil pan isnt connected to anything else other then the bottom of the block.
1) You drain your oil first.
2) Remove bolts
3) Tap pan with a hammer if it doesnt fall off, BUT make sure you have a block of wood against the pan so you dont damage your pan.
4) Pull out gasket.
5) clean mounting area
6) Install nmew gasket.
7) Bolt back up
8) Torque to specs.
9) Fill oil up again.

BTW, i looked at your profile. I have 2 concerns.
1) Bosch platinum +4
You will have better Luck with Stock Plugs then the crappy Bosch 4's, even if they are platinum.
2) 4 gauge power wire
Your running a 4 awg wire for a 1600 Watt amp?

Tip #1: Before replacing the oil pan gasket, make sure the oil isn't dripping from another spot higher up on the engine (such as the oil pressure sending unit), then collecting on the lip between the block and pan.
