looks like it is capped off , so my guess would be it goes no where
and if you have no codes , and no problems
its most likely for something your car doesnt need
i have a EVAP EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEMS FAILURE code showing

can you get a pic that shows the plug clearer , and the wire colors that go into it
and a pic of where the plug was laying
Looks like wires got pulled out. The way you're holding it, the end facing the camera is the one missing the wires. Is there a wire hook-up snap fit into the hanging bracket off the passenger side of the intake manifold? If not, you've wires hanging down below. Get under and look up through the engine bay for a dangling wire bundle. Let me know if I guessed correctly. I'll let you know how the wires go back in. GM likes to make many wires vehicle specific. Let's hope that this isn't one of them, mainly because ALL 2.2s have emmissions installed.
Looks like the wire to one of the O2 sensors... ?

Looks semi-important with that little clip in there to keep it from accidently getting unplugged...
If thats the case, you won't find an open connector somewhere in the engine bay.. Like stated above, looks like the wires pulled right out of the harness- if they were even there in the 1st place.
