well it just started happening today. I would go to put the ebrake handle down, and the light would stay on, and that annoying beep is starting to piss me off. I can pull it up real hard then set it down, and it will stay off for awhile, but it will still come back on. what could be wrong with it, do I just need to tighten a cable or something?

i think it's your handbrake switch..i can get to mine cause i have power windows..on the console their is the power window switches..if i open that flap and look straight down there will be a wire...try giggling it..if it goes on and off then theres a bad contact
well lol. i looked down in there and there was a wire that was preventing the ebrake to go all the way down lol. so i moved it and now it works lol. thanks man
