Making lots of noise (rattles)

I have noticed on my 03 cavalier, for lke the past month when im stopped at a light or whatever i dont know if its my dash or what something starts rattling like crazy and then when i go it stops, or even when i shift into park it doesnt do it. any ideas?

Sounds like a bad motor mount.

Would definatley say a motor mount. Does the same thing on mine because i upgraded to the stiffer mount. If you turn the air conditioner on it gets really bad, but if you put it in park or neutral than it goes away most of the time right? I would suggest that first!

im gonna go with blk here.. I had the same problem on my 02. Turns out my bottom motor mount was shot. I bought a new one from a-plus performance and had it installed and it was perfect. I dont see why it would go out so quickly though.. maybe it was just a shoddy part.

lol guys listen to this i found out it was my rksport intake cone hitting my strut tower omg..glad that was all it was.
