I am not sure if I put this in the right forum but I have a slight problem. My car is still parked in the garage and it is kind of dirty so I wanted to wash it, I got in it, heard a really weird buzzing sound. I went to start it, the battery is dead, I made sure all my doors and trunk were shut. The trunk wasn't. Obviously I got the dead battery from that but my problem really is the noise which is still present. It sounds like it is coming from the passengar fender/door area.
Any ideas or help?

its prob because the battery isnt completely dead yet , and the low voltage is causeing something to act up , get the battery charged up and you should be fine , unless the battery took a complete crap
I would charge up the battery. Then run a multi digital tester to the battery while the car is idling, To see what youre charging system is runnig at. How old is the battery in youre Cavalier? May need replacing. If the battery checks out good, It could be youre Alt. has decided to fail in which if the electronic module or spring carbon brushes worn out it acts like a ground and drains youre power from youre battery.
Good Luck
