My girl's sunfire has a crack head and is sitting at her home and see's still paying for a car she can't drive. I want to help and I'm strapped for money too.
Can someone suggest a cheaper way to fix this car ( which is a 2000 model ) like maybe an engine swap or head off an earlier year car? Going to see tomorrow if it's a 2.2L or 2.4L.

How can you say the head is cracked without taking it off?!?!?!?
It can be a head gasket and the head can be good. You'll have to get it check.
