How do I replace my serpentine belt?

Ok, my belt is all cracked so I got a new one, but I dont know how to install it.

The old one looks like it has enough give that I should be able to just slip it off one of the pullies and then take it off.

But how do I get the new one on?

There's a spring-loaded tensioner somewhere isnt there? Wheres it at and what do I have to do to it to get the new one on?

the tensioner should be under the power steering pump...in that area.
just slip your ratchet or wrench or whatever you have to use and release the tension and slide the old belt off.

What he said ^^^ have fun they didn't leave much room to get a wrench or socket on there properly it tends to slip off. Canadians stay away from UAP NAPA if you need to get a belt they wanted $64 for it, I got mine at crappy tire for $20.

Craftmans tensioner bar with Quad 4/2.4L flat crows foot. $25.00 + tax. It's helped me so much. Also makes a good breaker bar.

Thanks for the help. I just had my buddy push down on the tensioner with a long screwdriver and that worked fine.
