I'm going to do my strut mounts.. but I just remembered, I'm not sure where the spring seats go....
I think common sense would tell me, but BEFORE I run into any problems, I figured I'd ask the pros....
Anyways, a guy named Craig (forgot your name on the forum, I apologize) sent me awesome instructions how to assemble the mounts...
From top to bottom, we have:
Adapter
Large Upper washer
Main strut mount assembly
Large spacer
Bearing disc
My common sense tells me the spring seat slides on right after the bearing disc.
Am I right?
I know it's JUST a Cavalier, and I'm sorry if I hurt your ego.
Bump...
Here's a pic of the 95-99 Strut mount, thanks to Craig.
This is being installed in a 2001 Cavalier.
The change required the use of the spring seats.
Is the marked location, the right spot for the seats?
