55k miles, most major life-dependant problem was a new serp. belt.

I got 110,000 miles plus, bought it used with 94,000. Busted pw steering hose, leaky rear wheel cylinder brakes, valve cover leak. Minor stuff, no problems with engine or tranny yet.

102,000 miles on a '97 2.2L Sunfire. Just brought it in to have the ignition could worked on because it was being sluggish, but that's all I've had to do to. Aside from that, it runs very well, no major or minor problems except a slight A/C leak, but who needs A/C on car that can go 80 with the windows down?

The term 'stock' is COMPLETELY relative...

132,000 miles, i got it at 121,000 bone stock and i have been doing a few mods and stuff and the only things ive had to do are change plugs, and replace the control arm bushings.

sounds like my old neon. tranny went in it a month or so after i sold it. that was the reason i was selling it too.

ANYWAYS, 134k on my 99 2200. got it a year ago with 114k. last summer replaced the power steering pump. over the winter had to replace the thermostat, fan relay, head gasket, and power steering pump (again!).

my 03 is two years old today. I have 47,300 miles on it. Nothing but oil changes. Brakes are going to need to be done soon and the tires are starting to get a bit worn. One problem was the heater control cable. That's it.

'96 Z24 here w/ 135,000kms bought it in jan 04 w/ 97,000kms... only probs so far have been brakes and a wheel speed sensor.... other than that its been great... i drive it daily and have in the past not anymore beat the piss outta it, and it still runs strong.. still averages about 525-550kms a tank... great car IMO...

well I have a 98 z24 with 190 000 km. I have changed plugs, fuel filters..you know the minor stuff. Just changed my clutch too.. The only real problem I have is that the idle drops when I rev it but it always goes back up.. and it's not nearly as ballsy as it used to be, but what can you expect for 190 000 km's

I have a 1996 Z24 automatic. It has 124k miles on it.

I have had to change the a/c compressor, t-stat, ignition coils, fuel filter, plugs, tires, and brakes. It could now use some new shocks but I'm going to lower it soon so I'll get all the suspension done at the same time.

It has a newer trans because the trans pan got damaged on the original trans and it leaked out fluid and burnt up 1st gear. It would only go in reverse. Now it has a new tranmission and torque convertor, new filter and gasket, and my boyfriend installed a B&M drain plug kit so he can change the trans fluid easily every year rather than have to drop the pan and get soaked.

I had 74,XXX miles on my '01 Cavy with the 2200 and only had to replace the valve cover gasket. I got rear ended, and the car was totaled.

my 04 Sunfire has a hair over 14,000 miles on it, and the only mechanical problem I've had so far was from when I rear ended soneone, and the body shop screwed up a stock ground

My old 90 2.0 had 237K miles on it when I sold it back in March, and is still being driven by the current owner. Original engine, original tranny. Only thing I had to do with it was an alternator, and gas lines. My 96 now has 135K and going strong.

i have a 2000 with a 2.2 and a 5 spped with 175265 miles on it as of today. Only thing to go bad was the A/C compressor at 110 Thousand. Still have the same wheel bearing and struts. Only thing has been the rotors every 50K has been a good car.
