Hey,
I just got a quote done from GM to replare an exhaust leak at the manifold, all it needs is a new gasket... could i do this myself? is it hard? or should i get it done?

not hard at all. remove everything blocking the manifold (including the alternator)
unbolt the manifold
remove old gasket
install new one
re-torque to specs

Alternator doesn't block the exhaust manifold on the 2.4, all you need to do is unbolt the manifold, pull it back, pull the old gasket out, and put the new gasket on.
