ive had my 95 sunfire for 3 years now, I have 260,000 kms on it, and the only thing Ive had to replace is the alternator twice, probably because of my system.........
I run Castrol synthec oil 10w30 in it and it runs like a charm, i got it at 193,000
no problems what so ever, may need a new clutch soon
definetely on crack, haha I put my 2.2 from my 95 into another 95 my brothers old car..... he had a headgasket problem, and bought a cavy, so i kept his body and put my engine in there
still have the same engine from day 1, obvisouly i would have down the 2.4 swap but I had no probs, so did 2.2 to 2.2
No major problems here either. I've got 150,000kms on my '02 Z and nothing yet. Replaced the pads and rotors up front but other than that nothing major.
I had my '99 Z from the time it had 7 miles on it until I sold it with 90,000 miles on it... never even had to take it in for warranty work! Just did routine maintenance on it, like brake pads, tranny fluid, and fuel filter changes (and oil changes obviously)
