Recently the car has started to idle really roughly when the car is first started, almost sound like a modded Impreza, really thoraty and really bouncy. I sit and rev it for a lil bit, it backfires once of twice and then runs liek normal. Once I get it started and running it runs fine until im done with it for the time being.

This morning though, it turned over fine but would barely stay on. I would give it throttle and it wouldnt respond until a long 15 seconds or so. Then the CEL turned on and started flashing, which I think means misfire. Im to the point where I am too busy.lazy to take it anywhere and just wanted to know if any of the .org folks had the same problem and knew exactly what it is.

I know the maintenance forum doesnt give alot of responses but, any and all help is appreciated thanks.

PS- Do u think it mught have anything to do with the IAT sensor, or fuel filter?

EGR? I know cold start problems deal with the EGR, but that sounds like more than an EGR problem. I'd suggest taking it to a shop unless you have the proper tools for a diagnosis.
