hey guys got a 2200 sunfire and was wondering if i should buy the bosch sensor at auto zone or dish out another ten bucks and go buy a replacement with the dealership. this is the front 02 sensor. i have the obx header. thx. codes piss me off........
For my non-j-body, I bought a Bosch one. The design was different than the stock one, it being perforated while the Bosch was more louvered. I would have bought the OEM one, but in this particular application, the Bosch one was alot cheaper.
You pry would be fine either way.

Use only a Stock brand O2 sensor. Many J-body owners have problems with the bosch sensors.
I tried it once too, and it screwed up my car worse the the origibal dead sensor.
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely true."
Go with the GM part, its worth the extra money. I have never had any luck with Bosch stuff, whether O2 sensors, alternators or plugs.
No point buying a part a little bit cheaper if you have to replace it twice as quick.
GM owned electronic subsidiaries also build fighter plane parts and satellites, so the quality is usually pretty good.
