i was looking at the window motor my bros friend installed on my bros car, and i just fixed the track for the window, it was messed.
when i reconnected the window motor, and neg batery post, when i turn on the key, all the interior lights start to fade really badly and the car doesnt sound like its gonna start tried once. Sounds like when you double crank the car.
What happened to the car? What does it sound like.

thanks guys, i found out about that, but get this.
I try to boost my brothers car, and white smoke starts pouring out after about 5 secs of setting up the cables.
After this, i changed the battery with my friends, and everything seem to run like normal,
but now my bro said the battery light is on.
May it be that I burned the fuseable link of the battery cable or something?
What does it mean if the BATTERY light comes on.

you could have reversed your polarity.
Or maybe the alternator is about dead
