Brake problem, somebody please help!!!!!!

Ok, so I have a 2001 Z24 cavalier coupe, but I've been noticing ever since I had my brake pads changed, my brakes suck now! For instance, I now have to press far on the brake in order for my car to start braking. Even then when it does brake it does a really hard jerk to the right, it kinda feels like only the right side is working. It also wears out the brake pad on the right side really fast , and it even wore out my falken 17 on the right side. The tire hardly has any tread left and those silver wires are poking out. Needless to say these tires aren't even a year old. So I have new pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines (hoses), and even brand new rear drum brakes but I still have the problem. When I do a sudden stop I can even feel the brake pedal pulsating and there is this weird kind of sound coming from the bottom, it sounds almost like springs or something. Any opinion is welcome.

how is your alignment?

its possible that the 'slider' the caliper moves on is seized. apparently that happens often on the j-body caliper.

If its wearing out your tire it might be because the left slider has seized and is using 80% of the cars braking on the one right caliper.

I could be wrong, but its just a guess

When you brake and it jerks to the right. This means your RIGHT caliper is hitting the brake pads to the disc, but your LEFT caliper is not working, and the pads arent being applied to the disc.

Secondly usually a lower pedal means one of two things, 1. your rear shoes are out of adjustment and arent close enough to the drums, 2. there is air in the brake lines.

Rob S I did basically say the same thing, that the left wasn't working and the right was doing most of it.

I re read it twice over, and I'm certain thats what I said.

sorry if its unclear
