e- test?

i dont know about most of u's but here in crappy canada we have to pay our lovely goverment to take an e-test aka emmissions. i just want to say my 98 just passed today with flying coulors. but if the government where really try ing to help clean the air wouldnt it be free instead of me paying 37 frikkin dallors of hard earned money
anyway i wanted to say it passed

Don't like Canada, leave. I'm sure there is an airport nearby.

On topic: Most e-tests are unecessary - but there has to be a way to weed out the gross
polluters. So either we pay at the garage, or through taxes, and taxes penalize the people
who don't drive, so paying for the test is a cost of driving.

Here in AZ, you only pay for the test if you don't pass. Otherwise its payed with taxes.

Oh, if you car is less than 4 yrs old, no test. Or if you car is too old, no test.
