Allright, here's the story...I drive a 2004 Cavalier 5 speed, and had it in a few days ago for maintenance. They used some kind of crap to clean out the throttel body, injectors, and what not. Now yesterday, after burning a tank+ of gas, my car throws a code. The dealer threw it on a scanner and it came back with a "high Voltage MAP sensor" code of some kind, and an "Intake Temperature" code. He cleared the codes, telling me that the stuff they used for the cleaning sometimes throws the codes while its flushing out of the system, and to bring it back if the code comes back or it starts running crappy. The car seems to be running fine, and the code hasn't come back. Should I be concerned about this turning into a problem?
Thanks,
Dubie
PS: I did a search for MAP Sensor, and came up with nothing on maintenance forum, though I'm pretty sure I'm probably just incompotant, and this question has been asked about 6 million times on the invisible mystery threads ;p
If the car runs fine, and there is no CEL then I wouldn't worry about it. If the CEL comes back on, then go back to the dealer and kick some serious butt!
