Okay my oil pressure light is going on. it goes on and then it shuts off. But this doesn't aquire all the time. there could be a couple of days where it don't come on and then there are days where it comes on. My guess is the oil pressure sender or my oil pump is going out. My question how hard is it to replace the oil pump, and where is the oil pressure sender located on a 2000 2.2 sunfire?

On the 95-97 the oil pressure sender is 3" to the left of the oil filter. It should be similar on yours.
Pictures of the sender here!

dose it go on when u drive alot if so mine dose to but i have a little leak that i dont think that would make it go on . and is it where when it gose on are u at a stop and when u start goin again it turns off
Well it goes on when i drive, some days more then the others, and when I press on my brakes to come to a stop it turns on, then turns off when I go again. So should I be worried about the light. I was thinking about changing out the oil pressure sender to see if that stops the light from going on. If any one has any more Ideas on what it could be let me know.
