i was wondering how to disable the fuel thats enter the engine while running a compression test. is it a fuse or drain the fuel pressure from the line?
any help will be great thanks
Nick
Neither, all you do is remove all the spark plugs. Then install the compression gauge, and make sure that you crank you engine the same number of times for each cylinder.

no need to turn the engine the same amount of time for each cylinder. As long as the needle stop moving the test will be good.

doesnt the injector pump fuel into the cylinders when turning the key? i dont want to do an oil change yet could i pull the fuse?
If you care that much about the small amount of fuel that will get there, take out all the spark plug while doing it.

a compression test on a LD9 2.4 DOHC, must produce over 100psi in 4 compression strokes, a maximum is nice too, and it seems to be around 160-190 (depending on various stuff) it is nice to have them all close to the same too
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
Just pull out the fuel pump fuse and crank it over until it dies. Then do the compression test, no fuel will be dumped into the cylinders.
