04 cavalier, one day i was driving along and the clutch went to the floor and stuck. i pulled it up and wiggled it a little and pushed it up and down a couple of times and it was ok for the rest of the day. then the next day it did it again only this time when i was coasting down the road my car shut off on me until i let the clutch out and compression started it back up. checked my clutch fluid and saw there was some dirt in there. is this a common problem and could that be related to the problem? anybody else have this problem let me know wat it is thanks

also i have a B&M sport shifter kit...would that possibly in any way void warranty for my clutch if i have to take it to the dealership for this?

B&M won't void your clutch warranty, although the dealer will try to tell you that. There is a warranty act out there that guarentee's that they can't hold that kind of stuff against you. Take it to the dealer as soon as you can.
