ok guys bare with me here, im sorry i dont have the exact code numbers but the damn autozone guy who scanned it was an idiot, he held onto the scanner like it was made out of gold lol. Anyways ive noticed this year my car hasnt been running that great, and missing upon start up and in upper rpms. With all that being said here is the codes pulled
-1 coolant temp sensor
-2 cam positioning sensors
-4 O2 sensor codes
-1 vehicle speed sensor error
-1 fuel injector error
-ABS error
Now here is my cars mods over the winter and last fall, let me know if these could have tripped these codes and how i can fix them, i need to get this done asap becaus im up for inspection the end of the month, thanks guys.
-pacesetter 4-1 header
-2.25 custom stainless exhaust
-custom ground camshafts, similar to w41 cams
-fully ported and polished head
-1mm larger stainless valves
-10,000rpm titanium valve springs and titanium retainers
-62mm TB
I thinks that about it for the major stuff. I think some of the codes could be a result of my personal mods, such as the coolant temp i bypassed and am using a direct fan connection and aftermarket fan for better flow and cooling, the ABS is uplugged because i personally just hate ABS, other than that though i have no idea, please help
-1 coolant temp sensor
-2 cam positioning sensors -custom ground camshafts, similar to w41 cams
-4 O2 sensor codes -pacesetter 4-1 header have been known to cause the problem
-1 vehicle speed sensor error -62mm TB could cause this if you forgot to hook something up like IAC it all works togather - could also be a result of the ABS being unplugged. If you don't want the ABS then take the relay out but leave the sensors hooked up.
-1 fuel injector error -Most likely from the CPS being off with the radical cams grinds.
-ABS error -could also be a result of the ABS being unplugged. If you don't want the ABS then take the relay out but leave the sensors hooked up.

-62mm TB
Hope this helps a little.

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.
hey thanks alot man, im going to buy a new coolant temp sensor today, and i ordered an o2 sim last night. I took out the abs relay as well, and now im going to go get myeslf a new set of injectors from the juk yard, i checked the voltage across 2 of them and it was low, so im thinking i may have 2 bad injectors. The cam sensors i have no idea on, im guessing the custom cams threew those codes, but from talking to the dealer they say the computer shuold learn the new cams, after im done with all this im going to get the codes cleared and see how it works then. Anymore help out there would be greeeeeeeeatly appreciated guys. Thanks in advance
Your custom cam grind is probably too aggressive for the stock computer. W41 specs are past HO cam specs... and even the HO is way too much for the stock PCM to handle correctly. It will never "learn" that much timing...
