I have no idea where this would go.
I have a few polished items in my engine bay but one thing stands out as a sore thumb.
my Injen WAI
it doesn't have that mirror shine it use to have when I first installed it.
What can I use to get that healthy mirror back again? It looks kind of strange in contrast to all of the clean billet items sitting near it.
Steel whool? Sand Paper? Mothers?
I've tried some cleaners but they don't really bring back that glow again. so I'm thinking it's one of those three above. any help I'd really appreciate.

Don't use steel wool, that will scratch the hell out of it.
Go to a motor cycle shop and ask for a product called "simichrome" Its a polish made for doing exactly what yoru talking about people use it on chrome and anything that is polished and might have a fragile finish. It should work good for your intake, I have been meaning to get it and try it myself. It also helps protect once your done polishing it it.
should I just use a standard terry cloth towel or should I invest in something more expensive?

goto advance auto and get neverdull. its in a silver tin. its not a paste. its already abosrbed into cloth. that stuff works wonders. if you try this dont attempt to look at it with the light reflecting off of it. you will see spots. at least i did on my dads 68 chevelle front bumper.
I will have to try that also, but Inari just use a cotton cloth, remember anything like papertowels etc has larger fibers and its going to scratch a lot more than cotton would.
