i bought a haynes manual and it sucks, pictures are horrible and very little detail. does anyone know if there is a site or a link on here that FULLY explains how to do a re-build, mostly interested in putting the balancer shaft back, putting timing chain back, installing cams (found on on NJ, but looking for some more detailed pics), putting the head on, etc. i just finished putting the pistons back in, that was the easy part, i know i will screw up the timing or something if i dont find better info. let me know, thnaks

buy the proper service manuals that the GM techs use

are those like big $$$$? i think ebay has some, but i need it right away and cant wait for delivery
