How can i tell if i have a bad injector. My engine misses really bad, and i have replaced everything that has to do with spark and then both o2 sensors also. I noticed that it was putting out black smoke, and from what i have heard, black smoke means there is a problem with the fuel. It only misses at idle, or atleast its only noticeable at idle. When i had it put on a simple computer at autozone, it came up as multiple random misfire. I have a 98 z24 (2.4L). Also, if you have any other suggestions on what it could be it would be appreciated.
check the cables on the back of the injector...perhaps take them out, blow on them and if u can the injector plug and stick them back it...
