ok so i was going in circles like an idiot.. and then my power steering went out i called my friend at the dealership he said i probably burned out the pump so wut now?? i checked the belt and fluid all is good.. so has to be the pump?? how much is it and how hard is it to replace.. this is killing me i can barely drive it help please.. feel free to im me : xz24cavalierx thanx

You checked the belt?

You know the power steering pump isn't belt driven right? Its not even on the same side of the engine...

You probably burned it out. Changing it isn't so bad, pretty much unbolt one, bolt the other on. Not sure on cost.
