whats the pattern for taking the valve cover off so i can replace the valve-cover gasket....also before i do this is there somthing i should do to the valve cover be4 it goes back on or ne thing else i should know about doing this? (i figure while i have the the throttle all apart for the injector o rings i might as well do this cause theres a bit of oil seep-age
Well, like most things, you should start in the middle and work your way out. I believe the torque specs are something like 15ft lbs, which isn't much.
Make sure you clean both surfaces that the gasket is going to touch.
i forget but if you search here i know its here. i replaced mine a little bit ago and got all the info here on how to do the bolts
also.. i ripped out (when i say ripped out i mean... (me+plyers)+hanging off bumper= two peices of metal that i got out of my valve cover...its the piece that goes into the intake, i thought it was the pvc valve...but i was wrong, enough said.,...but what did i rip off, is it replacable and how much does it cost
