Ok, I bought a brand spanking new starter. It has a one year warranty on it, I put it in about 1 month ago. Every now and then it won't start the engine, everything will turn the starter just won't crank the engine. So I pop the hood wiggle the starter around, or hit it with a hammer, and it starts. But lately, it has been a little more persistant in not starting even after hitting it with a ahammer or wiggling it. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be, or what I could/should do?

First check the connections to the starter. Second the started could already be bad.
