First off I drive a 1998 Z24, standerd with a WAI, the CEL that has been on for a month I finally checked and it threw 4 codes. The car was running well so I was not in a rush to get the codes checked. Anyway these are the codes and was wondering if anyone can tell me anything more specific on how to or if I need to fix these problems;
P0141 - H02S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0335 - CKP Sensor A Circuit Performance
P0342 - Camhaft Position Sensor Circuit Low Imput
P1404 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation(EGR) Closed Position Performance
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P0141 - H02S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2
Sensor isnt performing as it should, probably not switching enough times a second. Could be the sensor
P0342 - Camhaft Position Sensor Circuit Low Imput
The PCM is always monitoring the voltage from every sensor, if the voltage goes to far above or below what the computer expects it wil throw a CEL code.
Again could just be a bad sensor

P1404 EGR code was something we had not too long ago. Turned out to be a bad EGR valve (We bought a new one for about 30 bucks from a junkyard, rather than 150 on a new one). Problem solved.
