OK, I'll admit I'm definitely a newbie to Cavs but definitely not to cars. could somebody please give me a step by step as to replacing the front turn signal and bumper lamp bulbs on a 97' cav? or just point me in the direction to such info.

First remove the black plastic shield by popping out the plastic screws (a flathead screwdriver will do the trick). Then remove your headlights, just unscrew the two bolts on top. And now you should be able to reach the turn signals and just reach down into the bumper for the bumper lights (which are kind of annoying to install).
