alright today i took my friend for a ride in my car and he was in the back seat when we went over a bump my subs stopped working so i checked the fuse and the fuse blew so i went to circuit city and bought fuses i put one in and my battery light came on i was like wtf so than i saw my distrabution block thing for the amp was black like it touched bare metal so i wrapped it up in electrical tape than took the fuse out started the car up no battery light so im like cool maybe its just the fust or somthing well i press the gas to rev it a lil and it comes on than turned car off turned it back on no light touch gas petal than light comes on please help....

when y friend jeffs sunfire was doing that it turned out his alternator went bad dont know if thats the proble but if you take it to orielys they will test it for you. if your lucky there handheld is working and they will test it on the car

i was thinking it was the alternator but i wasnt sure...

Definatly get your alternator replaced right away. I ignored mine (the same thing happened to me) but about 3 hours later ... my car just died. Everythig started to fail, abs, power stearing ... fix it before it f's you over.
